Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of devops-simulator (the "Service"), operated by MetisOps Limited PA (28th Oktovriou 18, Vrilissia 15235, Greece). By requesting access or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

devops-simulator provides self-contained, intentionally-broken practice environments ("scenarios") for learning incident response and debugging. Access is granted at our discretion following a manual review of your request, and may be modified, suspended, or revoked at any time.

2. Accounts & access

• You must provide accurate information when requesting access.
• Sign-in links, SSH keys, and CLI tokens are personal to you. Keep them confidential and do not share your access.
• You are responsible for activity carried out under your account and credentials.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service to attack, probe, or disrupt systems or networks you are not explicitly authorised to test (the sandboxes are the only permitted target);
• attempt to break out of, abuse, or overload the provided environments or shared infrastructure;
• reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service or its scenario content except as expressly permitted;
• use the Service unlawfully or in violation of others' rights.

4. Intellectual property

The Service, including scenarios, tooling, and content, is owned by MetisOps Limited PA and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for your own learning.

5. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, MetisOps Limited PA is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including under the GDPR).

6. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the Service.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece, and the courts of Athens, Greece shall have exclusive jurisdiction — without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
